Caramel Crunch mmmm-yummm Bars
I'll let the yummy pictures speak.
Recipe at: What's Left on the Table? blog by Whitney.
The basics, I loved these even with Chocolate...loved the Cinnamon in the bars!
Bubbling ....
With Chocolate melted on top...our local grocery store didn't have toffee bits ( I know!! super weird, living in the middle of hickville, I guess) I used a large chocolate bar with toffee bits and almonds. Added slivered almonds to the top to ensure we had some crunch.

A White Out in California????
It all looked so wonderful coming together. One Layer...
I WANTED to love this cake. It is beautiful as it proudly sits on the cover of Dorie's book. But, I didn't. Not a bit of love. The frosting was fun and dangerous to make but I hated the cream of tarter after-taste. ICK.

The flowers, ribbon and button are all on hand. The button has dots to celebrate PTI's new product today.Friday, February 6, 2009
PTI and coffee, again
I used all supplies on hand and available. The round punched sentiment says "Welcome Little one".
Next up is a Valentine Card and lapel pin I made for YOU (Mom) using PTI's My Punny Valentine stamp set for the uber-cute sentiment "Wool you be mine?" and Martha Stewart's lamb paper punch. I made one for myself too! I covered them with Crystal Effects so they are hard like a pin and will hold up for wearing. The hat pin allows you to pin it to your shirt - I had hubby sharpen them so they won't ruin close and their is a little end piece to hold it on and prevent it from poking you.
Happy Friday Mom!
Lv. Punky.

a purse- craft before the sun is even up...
I logged on this morning to browse crafty blogs over coffee and well, I found that Papertrey Ink is hosting a challenge on Nicole's blog. I love their stamps and paper and ribbon and EVERYTHING they sell...I HAD to create something for Amanda's birthday and this challenge - It's in the bag! - is beyond perfect!
Her present includes some monogrammed tissues, I think are cute for her wedding, and a Purse Hook. I love these things. Have you seen them? You get two in a pack and they are used to keep your purse off the floor at a table or elsewhere - I use mine ALL THE TIME when traveling and eating out for dinner. Love! It! You can buy them at Walgreens for $8 for the set - the set includes one silver and one gold. Perfect for the lady that likes to be matchy-matchy, like moi.
I used this card for inspiration. The stamp set is from Papertrey, it is Spiral Bouquet.
I made this card last week for Amanda using Stamping Up supplies on hand - the Bloom sentiment is embossed on vellum - it appears off center but that is my sleepy photography.
I used Papertrey's stamp set - My Punny Valentine - for this sentiment You're Berry Sweet and the sweet strawberry stamp on the card. They both LOVED them and the candies.
Love you Mom and thanks all for visiting. Leave me a comment and tell me your favorite thing about Papertrey's Anniversary Celebration! Did you win anything?
