First Garden Harvest

It's a good thing we are not relying on my tiny little garden to sustain us that much. The first harvest included 1 heirloom tomato, 1 sickly carrot and 8 cherry Sweet 100 tomatoes.
The purple heirloom tomatoes did not grow well - one of the plants never bloomed. The other has about 4 fruit still on it and growing. They taste GREAT! The cherry tomatoes are still producing and there are more ready today. They are very sweet too.
I pulled the carrot only to check the progress. I hope they keep growing.
The peas did not do well; I think they were to close to each other. The red pepper is still growing and it JUST bloomed last week. The cilantro we used and it's now to seed. The basil is gone. The rosemary is doing great.

It's a good thing we have a GREAT farmer's market near by so we can shop for plentiful amounts of produce on Saturday. The eggplant (pan fried and stirred into pasta) was good and the sweet corn was GREAT.
Love you but missing Iowa sweet corn.
